Leeds United announced on Tuesday evening that Pablo Hernandez had signed a new contract with the Championship club.
And it was not a surprise that a whole host of the fans took to social media to show their delight.
Hernandez is hardly a spring chicken at the age of 34 but has shown this season that he can still play a huge role for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Indeed, the Spaniard has contributed two goals and two assists in 10 Championship appearances during the 2019/20 campaign despite struggling with injury.
Hernandez has penned a two-year extension with the Whites, meaning that he is now contracted to the club until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Leeds note on their official website that the attacker has become the seventh member of the first-team squad to pen a new deal since the summer.
